Sand Cherry is a fairly fast growing spreading shrub, 4 to 6 feet high and wide. It has attractive gray-green leaves. It prefers well drained soil, is drought resistant and prefers full sun. It is one of the hardiest of deciduous shrubs in addition to being visually appealing – showy flowers, stunning fruit, winter color – some of Nature's most powerful draws for the animal kingdom.
