Silver Maple is a fast growing tree with silvery-white undersides of the leaves that tend to shimmer and dance in the slightest breeze and turn a beautiful yellow color in the fall. An excellent source of cover, nesting, perching, and feeding for birds and squirrels. It can reach heights of 40-90', is moderately tolerant of shade, is drought resistant and will grown in a variety of soils, but prefers moist to well drained soils.
