Invasive Species, Pollinator Plantings, Native Prairies

ACD continuously offers technical assistance to landowners for habitat projects, and often offers various grants to help incentivize projects.  Common projects are removal of invasive species, converting large areas to prairie that were formerly turf grass or marginal agricultural land, small backyard pollinator plantings, plantings in erosion prone areas such as shorelines, or many others.  The options are many and funding sources come and go, so landowners are asked to contact ACD staff to talk about their unique circumstances.
