Description Visit Cedar Creek for a morning of learning with Anoka Soil and Water Conservation District. Cedar Creek provides refuge for rare plants, wildlife, and ecological communities. However, non-native invasive plant species have the potential to undermine these ecological values. Invasive species such as buckthorn and black locust have been documented on the property. You will learn how to identify these species as well as how researchers monitor their presence. We will then go onto the property to begin monitoring these invasive species.

This event will meet at the Lindeman Research & Discovery Center, 2660 Fawn Lake Drive, East Bethel. Children ages 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
